Terms and Conditions

By downloading, installing, or using Aurora (“the App”) or by accessing the Aurora website at aurora.devl.ai (“the Website”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Website.

Aurora is an iOS application that allows users to play RPG Maker games on iPhone and iPad. The App also provides Aurora Link, an optional multiplayer service for compatible games. The Website provides documentation and support resources related to the App.

Aurora allows users to import and play RPG Maker games on their device. You are solely responsible for the content you import and must ensure that you have the legal right to use and possess any game files you load into the App. You must own the games you import. Devon Lewis is not responsible for any user-imported content.

Aurora Link is an optional multiplayer service that lets users interact with other players, including overworld presence, chat, trades, and battles. Realms are always-online multiplayer rooms hosted on the Aurora Realm server. By connecting to the Realm service, you additionally agree to the following:

• User conduct — You agree not to harass, threaten, or abuse other players; not to post unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content in chat; not to impersonate others; and not to cheat, exploit, or disrupt the service or other players’ sessions.
• Owner moderation — Realm owners may moderate their Realms, including renaming, locking, and kicking or banning players. Moderation decisions within a Realm are at the owner’s discretion.
• Enforcement — Devon Lewis may kick, ban, or otherwise restrict any user from the Realm service, and may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, at any time and without prior notice.
• Service availability — The Realm service is provided as a convenience and its availability is not guaranteed. The service may be interrupted, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice.

The Aurora application, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Devon Lewis. All rights are reserved.

Aurora’s native engine is built on mkxp-z, an open-source game engine, used under the terms of its license — see Licensing & Attribution. RPG Maker is a trademark of its respective owner. Games played through Aurora are the intellectual property of their respective creators.

The App and Website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Devon Lewis does not warrant that the App or the Realm service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any game will be compatible with the App.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Devon Lewis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, the Realm service, or the Website, regardless of the theory of liability.

Devon Lewis reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App, the Realm service, or the Website at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

These Terms may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the effective date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the App or Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
